| No. The Amex offers free access to delayed market data on amex.com. For a list of real-time distributors, refer to the Market Data Vendors section of this website.

| What is delayed data? |
| The American Stock Exchange considers data to be delayed only if it is distributed at least 20 minutes after the Amex system time stamp provided on the Network B data feed. All distributors are required to post a prominent disclaimer on all pages containing delayed Amex data. The Amex does not currently charge monthly usage fees for delayed data.

| Who should I contact at the Amex if I have billing questions? |
| Subscribers and market data redistributors should contact the Amex Market Data Services department at 212-306-1340 with questions about their invoices. Have the customer number from the invoice available when placing the call.

| What is the definition of a "non-professional" subscriber for pricing and contract purposes? |
According to the American Stock Exchange service agreements, a "non-professional" is defined as an individual person, acting in his/her personal capacity, who is not:
- registered or qualified with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodities Futures Trading Commission, any state securities agency, securities exchange or association, or any commodities or futures contract market or association;
- engaged as an "investment advisor" as defined in Section 202(a)(11) of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940; or
- employed by a bank or other organization exempt from registration under Federal and/or state securities laws to perform functions that would require registration or qualification if such functions were performed for an organization not so exempt.

| What are CQS, CTS, and CTA? |
| The Consolidated Quotation System (CQS) is the electronic service that provides quotation information for issues admitted to dealings on the American Stock Exchange, New York Stock Exchange, and U.S. regional stock exchanges. The Consolidated Tape System (CTS) provides last sale data for the exchanges. The Consolidated Tape Association (CTA) is the operating authority for CQS and CTS.

| What are Network A and Network B? |
| Network A carries quotation and last sale information for issues admitted to dealings on the New York Stock Exchange. Network B carries quotation and last sale information for issues listed on the American Stock Exchange and U.S. regional exchange. | What is OPRA? |
| The Options Price Reporting Authority (OPRA) provides real-time quotation and trade data for all options listed on the five U.S. options exchanges: the American Stock Exchange, Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), International Securities Exchange, Pacific Exchange and Philadelphia Stock Exchange. SIAC is responsible for the OPRA systems and networks, and CBOE serves as the OPRA administrator.

| What is VARS? |
| The Vendor Automated Reporting System (VARS) is an electronic reporting system for monthly market data usage reports operated by TCB Data Systems. The American Stock Exchange is a member exchange and will accept VARS reports from distributors. For more information, refer to TCB Data Systems' website at www.tcbdata.com.

Vendors who are interested in having their company name and logo added to the Market Data Vendors section must provide the following:
