- Firms must report multiple services monthly in a report format that has been approved by the American Stock Exchange.
- Firms must have a minimum of 10 MISU users per report to be eligible for MISU credits.
- Multiple simultaneous accesses to Amex data by the same user ID are strictly prohibited.
- Firms must be the payor for all vendor accounts receiving data to be eligible for credit.
- Firm must be billed on one account for all account numbers submitted on their monthly report.
- All firms participating in the MISU program will be subject to an annual audit by the American Stock Exchange. The audit will review the accuracy of the monthly MISU reports. Any audit findings will be subject to penalties. Firms that are found to have submitted inaccurate reports will lose the privilege of participating in the Amex MISU program for one year.
Firms interested in participating in the MISU program may contact an account manager at 212-306-1340 for approval. All reports submitted must follow the sample report. The report consists of a matrix of:
- A user’s identification. This can be an employee’s name, identification number, or desk number.
- The vendor’s name and account numbers.
- The number of services at each MISU location. Services must be broken down by Bid Ask, Last Sale and Ticker services.
Services listed on the report must directly correspond to services that vendors are reporting to the Amex. A sample report is available below for download. Reports will not be approved until the Amex is satisfied that correct MISU procedures are in place.
Note: The Amex has instituted a two-month time lag in processing MISU reports. This delay will allow the database to "catch up" with all
vendors' reporting so that each MISU report can be compared to inventory quantities that are accurate for the time period being considered. This means that credit for a September 2002 report will be not be processed until November 2002. Monthly reports must be submitted by the 20th of each month according to the schedule below. Credit for late reports will be forfeited.
