Systems Information - Amex Access Network

* * * IMPORTANT NOTICE * * *

Until now, member firms have connected to the Amex Access Network (AAN) using approved telecom vendors through point-to-point T1 lines or through an extranet service.

The Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) network, built and operated by the Securities Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC), offers more resilient access to the SIAC data centers through multiple access centers throughout the tri-state area as well as in Boston and Chicago. SFTI will replace the existing methods of connecting to AAN according to the following schedule:
As of April 1, 2003 all new requests for connectivity to AAN must be via SFTI.

By December 31, 2003 all existing connections to AAN must be migrated to SFTI.
For more information on SFTI, go to http://sfti.siac.com/ and click on General Overview, or call 866-USE-SIAC (866-873-7422).
