Nasdaq UTP: Accessing Amex Quote & Trade Info on
Nasdaq UTP Securities


On Monday, August 12 th the AMEX will begin to trade nine Nasdaq listed securities as an unlisted trading privileges (UTP) participant. The following information should be used to assist you in accessing Amex quote and trade data from various market data terminals.

Accessing Quotes and Trades on Vendor Terminals
(using symbol “HBAN”, exchange “A” (for AMEX) to illustrate)

Vendor By Exchange For all Exchanges or Market Makers (Montage)
Reuters Plus HBAN.A
(HBAN defaults to composite)
Select Montage from tool bar. In “Monitor” pop-up window, enter symbol.
ILX Go to Quote
Enter HBAN-A
Go to Database (or hit ESC ESC).
Enter NDD (for Dynamic Level II) or NDS (for Static Level II). Enter symbol
AT-Financial From a Quote window, enter HBAN.A (HBAN defaults to “.Q”) From Main menu, select MktMaker.
In pop- up window, enter symbol.
Bloomberg See all Exchanges --> HBAN QM (Quote Montage) (US is consolidated)
HBAN BMQ (Montage by Exchange and Market Maker)
Bridge See all Exchanges --> HBAN/TT/TQ (Times & Quotes)
HBAN/TT/TTQ (Times, Trades & Quotes)

Exchanges Trading Nasdaq Equities as of 8/12/02
A Amex
C Cincinnati
M Chicago
Q Nasdaq

Note: Quote error messages can result if (1) the exchange is not trading the designated equity, or (2) the vendor has not added the exchange to its database.
