REMINDER: IDC Passwords

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) would like to remind it's members and member organizations who have access to the IDC Option System and have not changed their IDC passwords recently to do so immediately. IDC passwords should be changed on a regular basis as a protection against any unauthorized use of the Amex IDC System.

Members and member organizations who have access to the Amex IDC System are responsible for any liability arising from the unauthorized use of their passwords.

Passwords should not be shared with other users. If, for instance, you are absent and allow another individual to make corrections for your firm via an IDC terminal, your firm should request a temporary IDC "ID" for use until your regular user returns. It is important to keep passwords confidential. If an employee leaves your firm, change your password immediately.

Additional IDC "ID" forms are found at the DK Room Service Desk, which is located on the third floor of twenty-two Thames, Section 28.

Note: To change your IDC password, log-on to the IDC Main Menu and select "Chg Pswd". Then, follow the instructions given.

Questions regarding this circular should be directed to Joseph Basso at 212-306-1757 or Ed Cook at 212-306-1748.
