The American Stock Exchange (“Amex”) will begin publishing the following indexes over the Consolidated Tape. The indexes will be published every 15 seconds between 9:30 AM and 4:15 PM starting on June 9, 2006. A brief description and historical levels are provided for your databases.

The S&P Aerospace & Defense Select Industry Index (SPSIAD) is an equal-weighted index that draws constituents from the GICS sub-industries that contain companies involved in aerospace & defense activities. Liquidity and market capitalization screens are applied to the indices to ensure investability.

The S&P Telecom Select Industry Index (SPSITE) is an equal-weighted index that draws constituents from the GICS sub-industries that contain companies involved in telecommunications activities. Liquidity and market capitalization screens are applied to the indices to ensure investability.

The S&P Building & Construction Select Industry Index (SPSIBC) is an equal-weighted index that draws constituents from the GICS sub-industries that contain companies involved in building and construction activities. Liquidity and market capitalization screens are applied to the indices to ensure investability.

The S&P Computer Hardware Select Industry Index (SPSICH) is an equal-weighted index that draws constituents from the GICS sub-industries that contain companies involved in computer hardware activities. Liquidity and market capitalization screens are applied to the indices to ensure investability.

The S&P Computer Software Select Industry Index (SPSICS) is an equal-weighted index that draws constituents from the GICS sub-industries that contain companies involved in computer software activities. Liquidity and market capitalization screens are applied to the indices to ensure investability.

The S&P Health Care Equipment Select Industry Index (SPSIHE) is an equal-weighted index that draws constituents from the GICS sub-industries that contain companies involved in health care equipment activities. Liquidity and market capitalization screens are applied to the indices to ensure investability.

The S&P Health Care Services Select Industry Index (SPSIHP) is an equal-weighted index that draws constituents from the GICS sub-industries that contain companies involved in health care service related activities.
