Early Closing Information for July 3, 2007
On Tuesday July 3, 2007, the day before Independence Day, the American Stock Exchange will end trading; (1) for those products that normally cease trading at 4:00 p.m. at 1:00 p. m. (2) for those products that normally cease trading at 4:15 p.m. at 1:15p.m.
Adjusted Option Input Time Schedule
The Amex will adjust the processing cycle of the Intra-Day Comparison Systems for Options (IDCO) on Tuesday July 3, 2007, to allow for earlier clearance and settlement processing at the Options Clearing Corp. (OCC).
The Final Option Comparison Pass will be run at 3:00 p.m.
Adjusted Equity Input Time Schedule
All ETF DKs must be resolved by 12:00 p.m. All Equity DKs must be resolved by 12:00 p.m., if an agent is involved you have until 1:00 p.m. If the contra side DKs a trade, the originating party must resolve the trade by checking for a floor report, and contacting the broker or specialist who executed the transaction. For system trades, the "AMOL" must be checked for verification. If the transaction is DK'd the uncompared side must resolve it by 1:00 p.m.
The IDCE System will be available to users until 5:00 p.m.
On July 3, 2007 Member Firms are required to input corrections into comparison based on the above time schedule.
