AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE TRADES OPTIONS ON EIGHT CURRENCYSHARES TRUST ETFS

New York, May 9, 2007—Today the American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) launched trading in options on the following Amex-listed exchange traded funds:

• CurrencyShares Australian Dollar Trust (FXA)
• CurrencyShares British Pound Sterling Trust (FXB)
• CurrencyShares Canadian Dollar Trust (FXC)
• CurrencyShares Euro Trust (FXE)
• CurrencyShares Swiss Franc Trust (FXF)
• CurrencyShares Mexican Peso Trust (FXM)
• CurrencyShares Swedish Krona Trust (FXS)
• CurrencyShares Japanese Yen Trust (FXY)

CurrencyShares Australian Dollar Trust options will open with strike prices of 78-88 (1 pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares.  The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group. The investment objective of the Trust is for the shares to reflect the price in USD of the Australian Dollar

CurrencyShares British Pound Sterling Trust options will open with strike prices of 194-199 (1 pt increments) – 200-220 (5pt Increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares.  The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group.  The investment objective of the Trust is for the shares to reflect the price in USD of the British Pound Sterling.

CurrencyShares Canadian Dollar Trust options will open with strike prices of 85-95 (1 pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares.  The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group. The investment objective of the Trust is for the shares to reflect the price in USD of the Canadian Dollar.

CurrencyShares Euro Trust options will open with strike prices of 130-140 (1 pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares.  The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group. The investment objective of the Trust is for the shares to reflect the price of the euro.

CurrencyShares Swiss Franc Trust options will open with strike prices of 77-87 (1 pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group.  The investment objective of the Trust is for the shares to reflect the price in USD of the Swiss Franc.

CurrencyShares Mexican Peso Trust options will open with strike prices of 87-97 (1 pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group. The investment objective of the Trust is for the shares to reflect the price in USD of the Mexican Peso.

CurrencyShares Swedish Krona Trust options will open with strike prices of 142-152 (1 pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares.  The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group. The investment objective of the Trust is for the shares to reflect the price in USD of the Swedish Krona.

CurrencyShares Japanese Yen Trust options will open with strike prices of 78-88 (1 pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group. The investment objective of the Trust is for the shares to reflect the price in USD of the Japanese Yen.
