AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS BANK OF AMERICA'S INDEX EAGLES LINKED TO THE AMEX BIOTECHNOLOGY INDEX

New York, October 24, 2006 -  The American Stock Exchange (Amex) today began trading Bank of America's Index EAGLES Linked to the Amex Biotechnology Index.

Priced at $1,000 with an initial offer size of $4,000,000, this bond trades under the ticker symbol BOR.P and has a maturity date of October 28, 2011.

The notes are issued by Bank of America. The Amex specialist unit is AGS/STR/OTA.
