AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS MERRILL LYNCH’S STRATEGIC ACCELERATED REDEMPTION SECURITIES (“STARS”) LINKED TO THE DOW JONES EURO STOXX 50 INDEX

New York, November 5, 2007 - The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) opened trading today on Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities (“STARS”) Linked to the Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50 Index.

Priced at $10 per unit with an initial offer size of 5,900,000 units, this equity trades under the ticker symbol DJL and has a maturity date of November 9, 2009.
