AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS CITIGROUP FUNDING INC.'S 12% ELKS LINKED TO NUCOR CORPORATION

New York, September 26, 2006 -  The American Stock Exchange (Amex) today began trading Citigroup Funding, Inc.'s 12% ELKS Linked to Nucor Corporation.

Priced at $10.00 per unit with an initial offer size of 5,840,000 shares, this equity trades under the ticker symbol EKN and has a maturity date of October 5, 2007.

The notes are issued by Citigroup Funding, Inc. The Amex specialist unit is Kellogg Capital Group.
