AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS THE COMMON STOCK OF CIBT EDUCATION GROUP INC.

New York, April 11, 2008 — The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) today listed the common stock of CIBT Education Group Inc. under the ticker symbol CPT. 

CIBT Education Group Inc. is an educational and marketing organization headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The Company’s current business operations include education and media communications. The Company currently has two principal business units, CIBT School of Business & Technology Corp. and IRIX Design Group Inc.  The educational operations are conducted through CIBT and are based in China and Canada. The media communications business operates through IRIX and its subsidiaries.
