AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS MERRILL LYNCH’S ACCELERATED RETURN NOTES LINKED TO THE MSCI EAFE INDEX

New York, August 12, 2008 - The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) opened trading on Merrill Lynch’s Accelerated Return Notes Linked to the MSCI EAFE Index.

Priced at $10.00 per unit with an initial offer size of 11,280,000 units, this equity trades under the ticker symbol MKY and has a maturity date of October 05, 2009.
 
The notes are issued by Merrill Lynch. The Amex specialist unit is Kellogg Capital Group.
