AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS EKSPORTFINANS ASA'S NIKKEI 225 INDEX CALL WARRANTS

New York, November 1, 2006 -  The American Stock Exchange (Amex) today began trading Eksportfinans ASA's Nikkei 225 Index Call Warrants.

Priced at $6.50 with an initial offer size of 2,250,000 warrants, the warrant trades under the ticker symbol NKI.WS and has a maturity date of October 20, 2008.

The notes are issued by Eksportfinans ASA. The Amex specialist unit is LaBranche Structured Products, LLC.
