AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS THE UNITS OF APEX BIOVENTURES ACQUISITION CORPORATION

New York, June 8, 2007 - The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) today listed the units of Apex Bioventures Acquisition Corporation under the ticker symbol PEX.U.

The offer size is 7.5M units at $8.00 per unit for gross proceeds of $60M (excluding over-allotment). One unit consists of one share of common stock and one warrant. Initially, the units will be the only security trading. Lazard Capital Markets is the sole book runner for this IPO with Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. as co-manager.
 
Apex Bioventures Acquisition Corporation is a newly organized company formed for the purpose of acquiring, through a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition or other similar business combination, one or more businesses in the healthcare industry.
