AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS COMMON STOCK OF SOFTBRANDS INCORPORATED

New York, December 27, 2005 -  The American Stock Exchange (Amex) today listed the common stock of SoftBrands Incorporated, under the ticker symbol SBN.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, SoftBrands, Inc. provides software solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses in the manufacturing and hospitality industries worldwide. The company has more than 4,000 customers in over 60 countries now actively using its manufacturing and hospitality products, and has an infrastructure for distribution, development and support of enterprise software.
