AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS THE COMMON STOCK OF CHINA SHEN ZHOU MINING & RESOURCES, INC.

New York, January 31, 2008 — The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) today lists common stock of China Shen Zhou Mining & Resources, Inc. under the ticker symbol SHZ. 

China Shen Zhou Mining & Resources, Inc. explores, mines, processes and distributes fluorite ore, copper, zinc, lead, and other mineral products through its China-based subsidiaries.
