AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS MERRILL LYNCH STARS LINKED TO THE S&P 500 INDEX

New York, November 23, 2007 -The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) opened trading today on Merrill Lynch STARS Linked to the S&P 500 Index.

Priced at $10.00 per unit with an initial offer size of 5,680,000 units, this equity trades under the ticker symbol SIT and has a maturity date of November 30, 2009.
