AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE TRADES OPTIONS ON SPDR FTSE/MACQUARIE GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE 100 ETF | ||
New York, January 31, 2007— The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) commenced trading in options today, Wednesday, January 31, 2006 on the following Amex listed exchange traded fund: • SPDR FTSE/Macquarie Global Infrastructure 100 ETF (GII) SPDR FTSE/Macquarie Global Infrastructure 100 ETF (GII) options will open with strike prices of 45 -55 (1pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The Specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group. The Fund's investment objective is to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return performance of an equity index based upon the global infrastructure industry market. The Fund uses a passive management strategy to track the total return performance of the Macquarie Global Infrastructure 100 Index ("MGI 100 Index" or the "Index"). The MGI 100 Index is a float adjusted market capitalization weighted index that measures the stock performance of companies within the infrastructure industry, principally those engaged in management, ownership and operation of infrastructure and utility assets. The MGI 100 Index is a composite of the broader Macquarie Global Infrastructure Index, which is based on 255 stocks within the following subsectors: Pipelines, Transportation Services, Electricity, Gas Distribution, Multi-utilities, Water and Telecommunications Equipment. | ||
