AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE TRADES OPTIONS ON SPDR® LEHMAN HIGH YIELD BOND ETF

New York, December 4, 2007—The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) today  launched trading in options on the following Amex-listed exchange traded fund:

• SPDR® Lehman High Yield Bond ETF (Amex: JNK)

SPDR® Lehman High Yield Bond ETF (Amex: JNK) options opens with strike prices of 47-57 (1pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares.  The options trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist is Susquehanna Investment Group. The Fund’s investment objective is to provide investments results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Lehman Brothers High Yield Very Liquid Index.  High Yield index measures the performance of publicly issued U.S. dollar denominated high yield corporate bonds with above-average liquidity. High yield securities are generally rated below investment grade and are commonly referred to as “junk bonds”.
