AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE LISTS SIX NEW STATE STREET GLOBAL ADVISORS' EXCHANGE TRADED FUNDS
New ETFs Follow Performance of Equity Securities in Emerging Markets

New York, March 23, 2007—The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) announced today that it has launched trading in six new ETFs by State Street Global Advisors.  The funds track six of the emerging markets indexes in the S&P/Citigroup Global Equity Index Series which represents the full global universe of equity securities currently listed in 53 markets.  The funds are:
 

  • SPDR® S&P® Emerging Markets ETF (Ticker:GMM)
  • SPDR® S&P® Emerging Latin America ETF (Ticker:GML)
  • SPDR® S&P® Emerging Middle East & Africa ETF (Ticker:GAF)
  • SPDR® S&P® Emerging Europe ETF (Ticker:GUR)
  • SPDR® S&P® Emerging Asia Pacific ETF (Ticker:GMF)
  • SPDR® S&P® China ETF (Ticker:GXC)

GMM, GML, GAF, GUR, GMF and GXC seek to track, before fees and expenses, the total return performance of the S&P/Citigroup BMI Emerging Markets Index, the S&P/Citigroup BMI Latin America Index, the S&P/Citigroup BMI Middle East & Africa Index, the S&P/Citigroup BMI European Emerging Capped Index, the S&P/Citigroup BMI Asia Pacific Emerging Index, and the S&P/Citigroup BMI China Index, respectively.

Kellogg Capital Group, LLC will be the specialist for GXC and GML, Goldman Sachs Execution & Clearing, LP will be the specialist for GMM and GMF, and Susquehanna Investment Group will be the specialist for GAF and GUR.
