The fund invests mainly in emerging growth companies and other situations believed to represent undervalued or turnaround opportunities that can generate capital gains. The fund seeks to acquire one or more emerging growth companies or other undervalued or turnaround situations that may eventually permit it to deregister as an investment company. The fund has borrowed funds in connection with its investment portfolio, and plans to continue to do so, and to consider various alternative means of borrowing that may be available to it. |
