Eaton Vance Insured Ohio Municipal Bond Fund is a nondiversified, closed-end management investment company whose investment objective is to provide current income exempt from federal income tax, including alternative minimum tax, and Ohio personal income tax. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in high grade Ohio municipal obligations that are insured as to the timely payment of principal and interest and are not subject to alternative minimum tax. During normal market conditions, at least 80% of the fund's net assets are invested in municipal obligations, the interest on which is exempt from federal income tax, including alternative minimum tax, and Ohio personal income taxes, and that are insured as to principal and interest payments. |
