Eaton Vance Florida Plus Municipal Income Trust, formerly Eaton Vance Florida Municipal Income Trust, is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company whose investment objective is to provide current income exempt from regular federal income tax and exempt from the Florida intangibles tax. As of Nov. 30, 2007, net assets amounted to $62.8 million. The trust intends to achieve its objective by investing primarily in investment-grade Florida municipal securities. During normal market conditions, substantially all of the trust's assets (at least 80%) will be invested in debt obligations. |
