RMR Hospitality and Real Estate Fund is a closed-ended equity mutual fund launched and managed by RMR Advisors, Inc. It invests in the public equity markets of the United States. The fund primarily invests in equity securities in the hospitality and real estate sectors. It invests at least 25% in securities issued by hospitality companies, at least 25% of its assets in securities issued by real estate companies, and not more than 45% in non-investment grade ratable debt or preferred shares. The fund benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the MSCI US REIT Total Return Index and the Merrill Lynch REIT Preferred Index. It was formed on April 27, 2004 and is domiciled in United States. |
