The company operates in two segments, Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Proprietary Products. The EMS segment designs and manufactures printed circuit board assemblies and higher level products. This segment markets its design and manufacturing services to OEM customers primarily through direct sales. The Proprietary Products segment offers environmental security and industrial products that monitor critical environments, including microprocessor and mechanically controlled sensors and alarms. These products monitor and detect critical environmental changes, such as changes in temperature or humidity, water leakage, and power failures. This segment markets its products directly, as well as through dealers and wholesalers, instrumentation catalogs, national and regional trade expositions, and distributors. The company was founded in 1972 and is based in Mankato, Minnesota. |
